Self-Isolation Day 45

This might be my last post as Self-Isolation is thawing and we are allegedly on the path to normality.  The SA government has announced what we can do from this week so I took a straw poll from the Ladies Who Lunch about their thoughts on what they can now do.

I have to say they were somewhat underwhelmed.  Their choices include outdoor dining at restaurants and cafes, which is not exactly attractive given it is Winter and you cannot drink.  Likewise outdoors sports training is not an option.  Ditto camping.  The Ladies want to jump immediately to Stage Two for the things that really matter to them:  seated dining, the opening of beauty and nail parlours and gyms.  Otherwise why not just leave things as they are?  There was definitely a conspiracy theory as the SA Cabinet is made up mostly of men.

The Ladies thought they had found a loophole with Worship.   Now on the face of it this also was not appealing. However the Ladies are a resourceful lot and they had decided a service at the Cathedral would solve their need to meet more than 10 ladies at a time.  Additionally it is de rigueur to have a cup of tea or something stronger with the Bishop after the service.  Evensong was proposed for every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm.  Then it was pointed out that you can still only have 10 people at a time in a church so back to square one.
